This project in Sunset Park transformed an underutilized fast food parking lot into much-needed housing and neighborhood retail space. Nearly 50 permanently affordable housing units are set aside for residents earning $20,000 to $60,000 annually.

This project increases the number of new affordable units in the neighborhood by more than 50% and features a first-of-its-kind Community Impact Fund making grants to local nonprofits.

The proposed rezoning of several blocks around Broadway Junction, one of the largest transit centers in New York City, aims to help fulfill its potential as “a more accessible and dynamic transit hub and economic center,” as described in a 2019 city report.
